Description & Uses

Panda Thermoplastic Hot Melt Road Marking is supplied in two grades

Type – I: Non- Reflective
Type – II: Reflective – contains minute glass beads which reflect light.

It is a powder composition, applied by special machine.

White and Yellow shades are available for marking.

Panda Thermoplastic Hot Melt Road Marking is applied on asphalted/concrete roads. Sometimes for better adhesion on asphalted road a Sealer is essential.

Surface Preparation

Surface should be clean and free from contaminants such as oil, grease etc. It road surface is rough and porous, pin holes will be observed on coating surface. In case of high penetration in asphalt, marking may appear dark.

Technical Data

Colors	White and Yellow.
Softening Point: (Ring & Ball)	95 Degrees Centigrade. Thin fluid with easy flow at 180 to 200 Degrees Centigrade.
Specific Gravity	2.0 + 0.3
Coverage	Variable depending on surface of road. 3 – 4 Kg. per sq. meter at 1.5 mm thickness.
Drying Time	Tack Free: 5 Minutes approx. Traffic allowed after 15 minutes.
Non-Volatile Matter	99% Minimum.
Scrub Resistance	Excellent.
Water Resistance	Excellent.
Appearance of Dried Film	Uniform film without any wrinkles, scales and cracks.
Application	Applied by special marking machine at temperature 190 to 210 Degrees Centigrade.
Shelf Life	One year when stored properly in original sealed pack, store at dry and cool place.
