Chlorinated Rubber Base Paint Finishing
Description
Panda Chlorinated Rubber based Primer has good film forming properties easy to apply, fast solvent release, low water vapor permeability and excellent chemical resistance. This coating has excellent weather resistance and good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including aqueous solutions of acids, alkalis, corrosive, gases, high alkalinity of concrete and asbestos cement. It is a versatile coating for substrates i.e. concrete, wood and metal. Panda Chlorinated rubber-based Paint is suitable for application in industrial atmospheres with aggressive conditions such as fertilizer factories, chemical plants, hospitals, pharmaceutical, industries, swimming pools and as marine coatings.
The British Code of Standard Practice CP 2008 BS5493 recommends Chlorinated Rubber based Paint as one of the systems suitable for structures of all types exposed to sea water or chemicals i.e. Bridge, Transmission, Towers, Plants, Buildings, Electrical industries, Exposed Pipe Line and Storage’s tanks.
Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and free from dust, rust, grease or any contamination. Best result is obtained on surface prepared according to Swedish Standard SIS 05.59.00 SA 2.5.
